Mako SmartRobotics™

Carrell Clinic is proud to provide treatments using Mako SmartRobotics. Fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeons Dr. Paul Peters, Dr. Kurt Kitziger, Dr. Michael Khair, Dr. Brian Gladnick, and Dr. Tyler Youngman, have all gone through extensive specialty training preparing them to utilize this technology for partial knee replacement, total knee replacement, and total hip replacement.

The Mako robotic-arm assisted surgery is crafted to deliver a joint replacement that feels natural for the patient. Utilizing a real-time operative guidance system and individualized preoperative plans tailored to each patient's distinct anatomy, this technology employs a 3D model of the patient's hip or knee.
