ATTENTION, PATIENTS! | Carrell Clinic is aware of the recent announcement by Governor Greg Abbott ending several COVID-19 restrictions in Texas, including lifting the statewide mask mandate, effective next Wednesday, March 10. As this information was just released, we will review the Governor’s new orders. This will be a fluid situation as we seek guidance from the Texas Medical Board and the Dallas County Public Health authority.
For now, we will continue to operate under Carrell Clinic's requirements that all patients and staff continue to wear masks and limit non-patient visitors. The COVID-19 safety precautions will continue at Carrell Clinic until further notice. This includes:
• daily health screenings
• social distancing
• practicing good hand hygiene
• wearing masks except when eating
Carrell Clinic thanks all of you for your patience and understanding throughout this year. As always, the health and safety of our staff and patients are of the utmost importance.
Safety Measures We are Taking:
- Patients are required to wear face masks.
- Each person entering the building will be screened by the following protocol
- Questionnaire regarding respiratory illness exposure
- Temperature screening
We are disinfecting each room between patients. Patients experiencing flu-like symptoms are being rescheduled. We are limiting the number of people allowed in our offices. The patient should be the only person attending the appointment unless there is a valid exception prior to arrival. Telemedicine appointments are available for new and existing patients.
Please bring your face mask with you to your appointment. This protocol applies to each individual over the age of 2 years old.
To ensure the safety of our patients and staff, we are asking patients to enter our facilities alone, unless the patient is a minor or needs assistance.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
