My Comeback Story: Natalie A.

From Surgery to Strides

On March 30th, I tore my ACL while skiing. A month later, on April 29th, Dr. Cooper performed my ACL reconstruction surgery using a cadaver graft. From there, I began the long road of physical therapy with Jarod, determined to get back to the activities I love.

At 10 weeks post-op, I ran on a treadmill for the first time—a huge milestone. Now, at 20 weeks, I’m back to running as much as I want, often 4–5 miles a day. Even more exciting, today I started working on jumping and cutting—movements I never imagined I’d be able to do again so soon.

I’m incredibly grateful for Dr. Cooper, Jarod, and the entire Carrell Clinic team for guiding me every step of the way. Thanks to their expertise and support, I’m not just recovering—I’m truly coming back stronger.
