My Comeback Story: Marjorie H.

Prior to my surgery, I heard horrible stories on how long and awful the recovery process was! To my delight, it was not near as bad as I had expected! The surgery was fine and I had very little discomfort. I live alone and stayed with family for the first few days, but returned to my home and was able to take care of myself. Your arm is immobile for awhile, but I managed it fine. I had physical therapy for six months and did daily exercises for the entire six months. My shoulder is fine and I returned to playing golf six months after the surgery and am still playing today!
