My Shoilder Replacement Couldn’t Have Gone Any Smoother

I was scheduled for my 2nd shoulder replacement for October, 2024. I had to cancel that surgery due to my husband’s cancer diagnosis and ultimately, his death. While he was ill, I was having to change his diapers and pulling the diapers and pads out from under him was the most painful thing I have ever experienced! I was in agony as my AC joint was also shot, and my bicep was torn.

Dr. Moen was able to fix both of those at the same time that he replaced my shoulder. It’s not easy living alone and trying to do everything with one arm/hand, but after the first couple of days I had virtually no pain. The surgery was in January and we are now entering May. I have been doing a great deal of yard work the past month, which has included a lot of manual labor. My range of motion is great, and I'm still working hard everyday to get my strength back. It’s so nice to be able to do things now that I’ve not been able to do the last few years. Dr. Moen is a very good and knowledgeable surgeon, and I’m so glad I’m now “fixed”!
