My Comeback Story: Daniel W.

I originally had rotator cuff surgery on my right shoulder with a doctor from another practice. After some time, my shoulder still wasn't right, so that doctor performed a right shoulder replacement in June 2025. From the start, I knew something wasn't right. The doctor and his staff just kept telling me it was okay and to give it time. It wasn't! I searched the internet and found Dr. Holt Cutler. It was the BEST move I could have made!

After my consultation, Dr. Cutler recommended testing to see if there was an infection in my shoulder. The testing showed that there was, in fact, an infection. The next step was to remove the shoulder replacement and install a temporary spacer. Then came six weeks of antibiotics through a PICC line. After I finished the antibiotics, Dr. Cutler installed a new right shoulder replacement. When I woke up in my hospital room after surgery, I had no pain for the first time in over a year.
