After my 2000 surgery, I was able to come back and compete for SMU and finish 5th in Western Athletic Conference 10k.
After my 2006 surgery, I was able to represent the City of Dallas in 2007 Sendai Half Marathon in Japan. I was also able to qualify for the Boston Marathon twice.
After my 2018 surgeries, I was able to compete a year or so in local masters division races.
After my knee replacement, I was able to come back and run some, but my other knee needs replaced.
I have filled up my surgery punch card and hope to get a free one soon. I’m definitely looking forward to another comeback.
