My Comeback Story: Byron T.

I am incredibly grateful that I decided to come to the Carrell Clinic for a second opinion regarding my back. I didn’t feel completely confident or reassured with the recommendations from my previous surgeon, so seeking another opinion turned out to be one of the best decisions I could have made. 

I was originally scheduled to have my procedure with Dr. Dossett, but unfortunately, he suffered an accident and was unable to perform the surgery. Dr. William Hotchkiss stepped in without missing a beat and performed my lumbar microdiscectomy.

Throughout my recovery, Dr. Hotchkiss has been patient, reassuring, and thorough in answering my questions and addressing any concerns or doubts I’ve had along the way. I’m committed to following his recovery instructions for the full year, and I’m hopeful that next year I’ll be able to return to free weights and some light jogging. I truly appreciate Dr. Hotchkiss and the entire Carrell Clinic team for the care and confidence they’ve given me throughout this process. Kudos to Dr. Hotchkiss and the team!
