Fellowship-Trained Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon Dr. William Robinson Joins Carrell Clinic

William A. Robinson, M.D., fellowship-trained orthopaedic spine surgeon, is joining Carrell Clinic on Aug. 23. Patients in need of specialized back, neck and spine care are encouraged to call (214) 220-2468 to schedule an appointment. He is available to see patients at the practice’s Dallas office, located at 9301 N. Central Expressway, Tower I, Suite 500; the dedicated Spine Center in Suite 400 of the Dallas location; and at the practice’s Frisco office, located at 3800 Gaylord Parkway, Suite 710.

As a fellowship-trained orthopaedic spine surgeon, Dr. Robinson’s expertise includes a wide variety of advanced procedures and techniques to promptly and effectively diagnose and treat orthopaedic injuries and conditions of the back, neck and spine. He specializes in the following advanced procedures:

  • Cervical disc replacement.
  • Cervical, thoracic & lumbar decompression and fusion.
  • Minimally invasive lumbar decompression and fusion.
  • Robotic-assisted lumbar fusion.

After receiving his Doctor of Medicine degree from Texas A&M University College of Medicine in Temple, Dr. Robinson completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Following his residency, Dr. Robinson underwent extensive specialty training through a fellowship in spine surgery at Rothman Orthopaedic Institute and Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.

Dr. Robinson is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the North American Spine Society.
