My Comeback Story: “Knoby” John E. K.

33 years ago, when I was 19, I was the youngest kid in the United States and the AMA medical records to receive an artificial hip. I had it because I had a genetic bone disease. I was given 25 years. I was able to get 33 years out of it. My family doctor gave me a referral to Carrell Clinic. I met with Stacy, my coordinator, Noelia, Surgical Assistant, Dr. Cardenas, and Physical Therapist, Jason. They were a wonderful team. I call them “ The Dream Team"

The best team of medical providers I have ever had. It was a seven week recovery and now I’m on the road of physical therapy getting stronger every day. They did a great job on my artificial hip revision and I’m very thankful. Thank you, Carrell Clinic you are the best!
