My Comeback Story: David H.

My story may be a little different. I am 72 years old and have been a physical therapist in Wichita Falls since 1978. I am well-acquainted with the WBCC physicians. I have had a lifetime of hiking, biking, hunting, fishing—if it involved an outdoor adventure, I was in. I raised my children that way and now I want to be doing those things with my grandchildren. So, I take them camping and hiking and fishing as often as I possible can. 

I knew when I began to have pain and difficulty walking that those activities could be compromised or lost altogether. I knew Dr. Curry would be the best choice to figure it out. His diagnosis was spot-on and his surgical intervention was hugely successful. I have been able to stay actively involved with my grandkids and resume the other things that make my life full. I couldn’t be more grateful.
