Her duties included being O.R.T. and Scrub Tech, where she assisted the Doctors in surgery and worked in the Emergency Room.
As Celia’s career began to take off, her knowledge and capabilities increased and Celia took a position in Dallas at Medical Arts Hospital in 1983 until her departure from there in 1991. Celia assisted twelve Doctors in various surgeries from abdominal to orthopedic. Celia left from Medical Arts to take a position for W.B. Carrell Clinic™ of Dallas. Although Celia has obtained many medical accomplishments and received many awards, her greatest accomplishments are becoming a Grandmother of eight. Celia’s love for children did not begin when she became a Nana, but she has always worked with the youth, from being a PTA President, to a Room Mom, a School Volunteer, a Team Mom, a Drill Team Parent, and a Girl Scout Mom. All of those years of experience have enabled Celia to develop a deeper love and compassion for the kids. She now serves as the Director of Lil Fellowship at Loving Fellowship Baptist Church, where she works tirelessly with the little people. Celia would not have been able to be a successful, wife, mother, Nana, employee, or Youth Leader with the help of her Almighty God, whom she gives All the Honor and Glory, for without Him she could do nothing.
